  • Residents in Santa Teresa and a portion of Sunland Park will temporarily experience discolored water following a fire department response to a fire on Crawford Road. Once service is restored, water could appear discolored. Although the water is safe to drink, CRRUA recommends waiting until the water clears before doing laundry.   • Update: Water pressure has returned to the area. The increase in pressure could disturb naturally-occurring sediments in the distribution lines resulting in discolored water. Although the water is safe to consume, CRRUA recommends that customers run cold water for a few minutes and to wait until water clears before doing laundry.
