Water Utility Bill Assistance Programs
New Meter Connections
To apply for a new meter, an application with required documentation and payment should be dropped off at the CRRUA drop box. Please note that the application to install a new meter within the City of Sunland Park boundaries will require approval from the City of Sunland Park. For construction-related projects, please contact CRRUA directly.
The following documents must be dropped off:
- Completed application: Application for New Service Meter (PDF)
- Copy of identification for those individuals listed on the application.
- Payment of fees for a new service meter must be paid prior to installation.
Service Termination
The form to discontinue service must be submitted to terminate services and dropped off at the drop box. Lack of written notice to CRRUA to disconnect will result in continued account charges.
The following documents must be dropped off:
- Completed disconnection form: Discontinuation of Services Form (PDF)
- Copy of identification for individual(s) listed on the account.
- Payment for outstanding balance on the account.
Service Transfer
To apply for an existing service, an application with required documentation and payment should be dropped off at the CRRUA drop box.
The following documents must be dropped off:
- Completed application: Application for Transfer of Services (PDF)
- Copy of identification for those individuals listed on the application. Names on the application must match the names listed on all documentation.
- Copy of proof of ownership, settlement agreement, or rental lease.
- $100 deposit in check or money order made payable to CRRUA.
