Customer notification

A 3% increase in water and wastewater rates will take effect at the beginning of calendar year 2027. This adjustment is part of the rate increases approved by the CRRUA Board on November 10, 2025.

The Camino Real Regional Utility Authority (CRRUA) is currently working to repair a water line break between Airport Road and the railroad tracks just northwest of the Love’s Truck Stop. Adjacent areas may also be affected. Water service to the area will be interrupted during the repair process. There is no time estimate for the water outage and CRRUA will provide progress updates.

Once water service is restored, customers may notice discoloration due to naturally occurring minerals in the distribution system. CRRUA recommends waiting for the water to become clear before washing laundry. The discoloration should disappear within 24 hours. If it does not, customers should run cold water for several minutes.
